Dosage calculation

The Mota pot will infuse butter at a 70% extraction rate. In plain English, 70% of the extractable cannabinoids in the plant can be extracted into butter.

For example, you have 5 grams of Gorilla Glue #4.  That 5 grams contains 1500 mgs of THC. That is based on 30% strength (30% of 5000 is 1500). Infusing a stick of butter will transfer 1050 mgs from the plant to the butter and 450 mg left in the plant material left in the strainer. In terms of a dispensary selling you edibles, that is the same as purchasing 10.5 packages of gummies. That would run you $150.00 to $210.00 depending on the dispensary you shopped at.

The remaining plant material (450 mg’s of THC) can also be used. You could use it in chili, lasagna, meatballs, spaghetti, or other spicy dishes. In short, all 1500 mgs are available for you to use.

Compare that with 60% of what you consume in a joint never enters your body…

Here is the formula for calculating your dosage (using butter):

Strain percent x amount of strain = available.
Available x 70% = infused amount.
